Explore the Atlanta Beltline Westside Trail
The city’s historic westside neighborhoods are connected through the Westside Trail including West End and Mozley Park. When completed, the trail will extend 3.2 miles, connecting to the Southwest and Northside Trails. This section of the Beltline highlights the beauty The City in the Forest has to offer.
1. Enota Park

Enota Park is a place for families to enjoy the playground in a quiet area. The park is set to get a big upgrade, expanding to eight acres.

2. Westside Beltline Tunnel

You’ll find a beautiful mural on the Westside Trail tunnel. It’s a the perfect place to snap a photo. Ashview Community Garden is nearby.

3. Washington Park
With a playground, baseball field, tennis court, a natatorium, picnic spots and more, Washington Park is a great area for enjoying the city outdoors. The park, in 1919, became the first recreational green space in Atlanta for Black residents. Now, it’s a place for community gatherings and events.

4. MARTA Bankhead Station
The MARTA Bankhead station provides an option for strolling along the Beltline then hopping onto MARTA to get to your next destination.

5. Westside Reservoir Park

Westside Reservoir Park, Atlanta’s largest green space, includes a playground, exercise equipment, pavilions and a stunning view of downtown Atlanta. The park is home to a 35-acre water reservoir that is 350-foot deep and holds 2.4-billion gallons of emergency water. A bike park coming to the area will feature 2.25 miles of mountain bike trails.

6. Westside Paper
The Westside Paper office and retail campus provides space designed for meetings and socializing. In addition to work spaces, it’s possible to grab breakfast at Pancake Social, spend time shopping at Ancestral Bottle Shop or enjoy a Popsicle from King of Pops.

7. El Santo Gallo

El Santo Gallo taqueria specializes in traditional tacos. Chef Santiago Gomez brought in Ramon Martinez, a taquero, who brings the heart and flavors of his hometown in Mexico to Atlanta. The fresh guacamole is a must-try. You’ll also find a location inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium Downtown if you’re there for a game, concert or event.

8. Dumpling Factory
Dumpling Factory celebrates Northern Chinese flavors with a variety of authentic dishes. The shumai dumpling includes shrimp, pork black mushrooms and eggs. Try beef and carrot dumplings or a vegetable dumpling. The flavors of the hand-pulled noodles and handmade buns will transport you to China.

9. The Works

Close to the Westside Trail and its connecting trails, you’ll find The Works. This retail, office and entertainment space is a great place to hang out with friends and family. From a food hall to a dog park bar, you never know what you’ll find here. The murals at The Works make colorful backgrounds for photos.

10. Chattahoochee Food Works

This 26,000-square-foot Chattahoochee Food Works, a food hall and events space, offers a variety of cuisines. Delilah’s Everyday Soul has the “Best in the Nation” mac and cheese, according to Oprah. Bahn Mi Station is known for authentic Vietnamese cuisine including vermicelli noodles and pho. If you’re looking for comfort Thai food, Tyde Tate Kitchen serves home-style meals. Don’t leave before grabbing dessert from Mochinut or Munster Cravings.

11. Your 3rd Spot

Bring your competitive side to Your 3rd Spot to play arcade games, corn hole, bowling and more. You’ll feel like a kid again. There’s even a slide for added fun. After working up an appetite, enjoy small plates and craft cocktails, along with non-alcoholic options.

12. Fetch Dog Park

13. Bold Monk Brewing

With a beer garden outside and a variety of beers on tap inside, Bold Monk Brewing is designed for relaxing. The second floor features a bookstore, so you can enjoy a beer while you find your next read. From burgers to mussels to pizza, there’s plenty to eat.

If you wrap up near The Works, you’ll be near the Northside Trail. The Westside Trail also connects to the Southwest Trail, which has a variety of historical stops and breweries, plus you’ll find another food hall filled with comfort cuisines.
