Job Description
Position: Intern
Department: Public Relations
Paid: Yes

General Description
Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) is the official destination marketing organization for the city and promotes travel to Atlanta. ACVB positions Atlanta as the leading destination for conventions and tourism through sales and marketing programs.
ACVB’s public relations team works with journalists to generate positive stories highlighting Atlanta as a premier convention and leisure travel destination. ACVB’s public relations team is seeking an intern for the summer to assist in marketing Atlanta to domestic and international travel media as well as convention trade outlets.
What can I learn from this internship?
ACVB’s summer internship offers a dynamic, hands-on experience designed to significantly enhance your professional profile. This isn’t your typical internship – there’s no fetching coffee or making lunch runs, though we do enjoy discovering new coffee spots and restaurants (MICHELIN Guide, anyone?).
From hosting journalists and showcasing the best of Atlanta to assisting ACVB’s public relations team in preparation for FIFA World Cup 2026, the summer intern will gain practical experience related to their academic field. Additionally, the public relations summer intern will have the opportunity to engage with ACVB’s senior leadership, collaborate across departments and explore the destination to learn more about Atlanta and its travel and tourism industry.
